Investigators say Elijah Runningbear Diaz was last seen on August 29, 2015 in El Cajon, California. Elijah, known affectionately as "Bear," was on diabetes medication when he vanished.

Lelaine Thompson says on the evening her son disappeared she dropped him off at his home around 10:30 p.m. "He texted me at 11:19 pm and was never heard from again. Bear was a Type 1 Diabetic, his health was poor, he only weighed 110 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, Bear was unable to walk or drive due to wounds on his feet from neuropathy. Someone took Bear from his home," Thompson adds.

Diaz has not used his phone or bank accounts since disappearing.
