On August 7, 2015, authorities said 16-year-old Ciara Stacho disappeared from Inkster, Michigan. At the time of Ciara’s disappearance, her mother, Dawn Stacho, told Click on Detroit in 2018 she believed her daughter ran away. At some point, according to Dawn, she reached out via text and wanted to return. The reunion between Ciara and her mother has yet to happen.

Dawn added, “She was a sweet girl. She liked to hang out with her friends, and she liked to go to school dances and football games, normal stuff like that."

In 2021, Ciara's face was put on billboards in the area, a report said, but the positive publicity didn't yield any leads to her recovery.

Ciara was born on July 14, 1999, and is a biracial female with brown hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. NCMEC said Ciara has multiple tattoos and piercings and it's possible her hair is now dyed.

The report said Ciara’s tattoos say "Dominic" and "Nate" and they are inscribed on her wrist. The name "Sasha" also appears on her forearm, the report added. In addition, Ciara has cheetah spots on her right shoulder. Those markings reportedly go down her arm.

Two words "beautiful" and "Gomez" are also on her abdomen, the report adds. The final marking mentioned are shooting stars that appear on her right hip.

As of August 2023, Ciara would be 24-years-old.
