Investigators are searching for the person who murdered 21-year-old Lindsay Harris. She was last seen alive on camera on May 4, 2005 when she made a deposit into a Bank of America in Henderson, NV. After that deposit witnesses say she was seen on the Las Vegas strip before disappearing. Lindsay’s family reported her missing and there was a search to find her. There wasn't any activity until 2008. Police say a group of children made the gruesome discovery of finding a severed leg 20 miles south of Springfield, IL. Less than 24 hours later, authorities found a second leg. Both legs were eventually positively identified and linked directly to Lindsay Harris. Since this identification, the Illinois State Police have handled this investigation and it remains active today.
