In June 2019, there was an all-out search to find a missing 20-year-old mother and her toddler son. Camden (Arkansas) Police say they were contacted by the family of Alyssa Cannon and her son to say she had not been seen since June 22, 2019.

Police took the information seriously and made a welfare check at Alyssa’s home, but once inside, they made a horrifying discovery. Investigators found the bodies of the young mother and her 4-year-old son, Braydon Ponder. Both were murdered. The investigation soon revealed Alyssa was dating Jory Worthen and he became the focus of the case.

Worthen was not a stranger to authorities. In 2017 Alyssa filed an order of protection against him.

Prosecutors soon charged Worthen with two counts of capital murder for Alyssa and her son's murder, but he was nowhere to be found, and has been on the run ever since.

Worthen possibly smokes Newport or Marlboro cigarettes. His favorite movie is Halloween with Michael Myers and his favorite color is blue. Worthen was previously in the Army Reserves in Ft. Benning, GA for training.
