It was Father's Day weekend in 2020 when 30-year-old Lauren Dumolo disappeared without a trace. The mother of a young girl was living in Cape Coral, Florida in an apartment by herself when she vanished.

Lauren's father Paul Dumolo told In Pursuit: The Missing he received an odd call from his daughter's boyfriend that weekend.

Dumolo said the boyfriend told him he hadn't seen Lauren and he was worried. Lauren's phone went silent, she wasn't active on social media and no one else had heard from her. By Sunday, June 21, 2020, an official missing persons police report was filed. Within the week massive searches by the local police department and volunteers were underway.

Paul Dumolo knew he couldn't sit in California knowing his daughter was missing, so he jumped on a flight to Florida to be on the ground. Every day Paul knocked on doors and pounded the pavement searching for clues. Two of Paul's other daughters would also drive to Cape Coral to assist with these efforts. Dumolo said during that time he was on the ground in the south for nearly two months desperately searching for his first born.

Detective Nick Jones with the Cape Coral Police Department told In Pursuit: The Missing he has interviewed dozens of people in Lauren's life and, possibly even some relating to her case, but at this point none of the tips or information have led to Lauren's whereabouts. Det. Jones isn't giving up, and neither is Lauren's family.

Dumolo said, "I made a promise that I would not stop until I got the answers and she got resolution to whatever happened to hear and I will never stop... I plan on sticking to that promise until the day I die."

Lauren doesn't own her own vehicle and she is known to walk most places. If she is not able to make a long walk, she has been known to take a bus or jump in a car with a friend.

Lauren stands 5 feet tall and when she went missing she weighed around 110 pounds. She has light brown hair, with blonde highlights and brown eyes. The Cape Coral Police said on the day Lauren vanished she was wearing a t-shirt and shorts. They also want the public to know Lauren has many tattoos including:

- Large tattoo on the side of her body that reads" Namaste"
- Rosary Beads on her ankle
- Symbol on her wrist
- Symbol "NY" on her pelvis

Since Lauren disappeared, she missed her 30th birthday and her daughter's birthday. Her loved ones say Lauren would never miss these special milestones.
