The Hammond Police Department and the US Marshals confirm 33-year-old homicide suspect Steven Todd is in custody. Todd was tracked down thanks to a brave "In Pursuit with John Walsh" tipster who saw his 15 Seconds of Shame segment profile.

The information was worked by the local Hammond Police and they made contact with the Yuba City Police and Yba-Sutter Narcotic and Gang Enforcement Task Force in California to help with the arrest.

Authorities say Todd was wanted for allegedly killing a 26-year-old female in Hammond, Indiana in November 2019.

"Agents were able to locate and confirm the identity of Mr. Todd leaving a business in the 1000 block of Gray Ave. Mr. Todd was taken into custody without further incident," Yuba City Police add.

Currently Todd is awaiting extradition.
