Harmony Montgomery would have been 5-years-old when she disappeared from Manchester, N.H. The child was officially reported missing in January 2022, more than two full years after she was last seen with her family. The New Hampshire Attorney General narrowed down the window of time. They believe, based on their investigation, the last time Harmony was seen by anyone was sometime between Nov. 28 and Dec. 10, 2019.

Harmony's mother, Crystal Sorey, spoke out exclusively to WMUR recently. She said her "mother's intuition" tells her Harmony is still alive and she is hoping someone will come forward with information.

Now, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) is assisting law enforcement with the search to find her. John Bischoff III of NCMEC told WUMR, "We are an organization built on hope. Until proven otherwise, we will continue to look for this child. There are too many cases out there, whether it be Jaycee Dugard or Elizabeth Smart — there are too many times that theory has been proven wrong to give up hope at this point."

Bischoff added, "From a law enforcement standpoint, missing child cases are difficult, whether it be two minutes, two hours, two days after a child has gone missing."

In early January 2022, the Manchester Police announced 31-year-old Adam Montgomery was arrested for one charge of felony second-degree assault. The charge stems from a 2019 incident against the child. Adam is also facing a charge of interfering with custody and two misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child pertaining to Harmony, police added. Adam Montgomery is Harmony’s biological father.

Also in January 2022, Manchester Police arrested 31-year-old Kayla Montgomery. She was charged with a single count of felony welfare fraud. "Ms. Montgomery’s arrest was pursuant to an arrest warrant for one charge of Welfare Fraud. This charge alleges that between December 2019 and June 2021, Kayla Montgomery obtained over $1,500 in food stamp benefits by failing to remove Harmony Montgomery from Kayla’s family account with NH DHHS Division of Family Assistance and continuing to collect food stamp benefits for Harmony," Manchester police added. Police said Kayla Montgomery is not Harmony's biological mother.

The reward to find Harmony has reached over $140,000. Harmony stands 4 feet tall and weighs around 50 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and she wears glasses. Harmony’s mother said she is blind in one eye. If you have any information on where Harmony could be, please contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children directly: 833-378-7783 (3-PURSUE). Tipsters can also reach the Manchester Police directly: 603-203-6060
