WYLIE, TX — According to the Wylie Police Department, a heavily tattooed man wearing only women’s skimpy pink-and-gray underpants was recorded by a doorbell camera stealing a lightbulb from a stranger’s porch.

After the homeowner reportedly posted the video online, police said they easily identified the accused thief. The video clearly shows his face and extensive ink work.

Michael Anthony Jimenez, 36, was reportedly arrested last week in connection to the June 30 incident.

Authorities reported that Jimenez has a lengthy criminal record in Dallas County, including charges for burglary, possession, and resisting arrest, as well as a 2004 conviction for indecency with a child.

The panty-clad accused pilferer allegedly struck at around 11 P.M. on Saturday, June 30. The next morning, the homeowner reportedly checked his Ring doorbell camera footage and noticed the lightbulb-lifter in lady’s undergarments, then posted the 65-second clip on Reddit.

The homeowner’s brother reportedly wrote on Reddit, “It looks like the tattoo on his back says ‘Jimenez,’ but it’s hard to be sure. My brother’s got kids and a wife so he’s pretty freaked out since it looks like the guy was casing the place.”

Reports state the homeowner also claimed that he found footprints on a child’s bedroom window.

Police have said that Jimenez was charged with a misdemeanor and is being held in the Collin County Jail on $25,000 bond.
