The FBI is making an urgent plea to the public in hopes someone will come forward with a tip to help solve a critical exploitation investigation involving an infant. Agents said the video of a man, shown with an unidentified infant, was initially recorded by The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in June 2020. The video was allegedly produced sometime between January 2019 and April 2019, agents add.

The FBI created a poster and disseminated to the public nationwide with the unknown man's image. The photos of the white male are cropped, and investigators also provided a photo of the room.

The male, who authorities said speaks English, had brown hair and at the time of the recording, along with a brown mustache and beard. The FBI said this individual has not been charged and is sought through the FBI's Operation Rescue Me and Endangered Child Alert Program (ECAP) initiatives.

The FBI said, "Operation Rescue Me focuses on utilizing clues obtained through in-depth image analysis to identify the child victims depicted in child exploitation material, while ECAP seeks national and international media exposure of unknown adults (referred to as John/Jane Does) who visibly display their faces and/or other distinguishing characteristics in association with child pornography images."
