2-Year-Old King Hill Vanishes, Police Still Searching For Toddler And Clues
"We've put a tremendous amount of resources to this, probably more resources than we've ever devoted to any other investigation I've had here in the past over 40 years."
On July 7, 2020, Philadelphia Police say 2-year-old King Hill disappeared from 31st and Page streets in Strawberry Mansion. The toddler was last seen in the morning around 9:50 a.m.
Hill's stepfather planned to drop the toddler off at the mother Kimberly Hill's home. "Instead, the mom received a text from the stepfather that set off the search for her son. The stepfather said a babysitter had dropped off King," ABC 6 reports. The mother says this was the first time she's ever heard of this babysitter, the report adds.
According to ABC 6, at a news conference on Monday, Capt. Mark Burgmann says, "We've put a tremendous amount of resources to this, probably more resources than we've ever devoted to any other investigation I've had here in the past over 40 years."
Hill stands 3 feet tall and weighs 32 pounds. He has a light brown complexion, brown eyes, black hair and police say he has a thin build.
