MT. MORRIS, NY — A New York State sex offender who was paroled after serving 13 years has been arrested for placing an Craigslist ad — in direct violation of his release conditions.
Terri Havens, 49, was convicted of sodomizing a five-year-old girl in 2003. Authorities said the victim was considered a “non-stranger.”
Last September, Havens was paroled as a “Level 3” sex offender, classifying him as being at the maximum risk to re-offend and requiring strict monitoring by communities and law enforcement.
