Authorities said Lewis abused the victim from the time she was 9-years-old until 14. Deputy U.S. Marshal Brand Filla told CBS Austin, “It’s her 9th birthday, they have a stepfather-daughter date in Marble Falls. They go for dinner, he takes her back to the residence where they’re by themselves. He lights candles, he plays music, and that’s the first time that she is victimized.” Filla added, “We need this guy off the streets because we don’t know how many victims there are.”

She was 18-years-old at the time of the murder. AZ Family reported Aguilar targeted Espinoza and “fired several shots” into the car where Espinoza had locked herself inside. The pair, according to 12 News, had an argument and there is a felony warrant active to find Aguilar.
