MIAMI, FL — Over the weekend, the Miami Police Department released a video that appears to depict a woman being abducted.

The police asked for the public’s help in finding the woman and, on Sunday night, authorities reported that she had been located unharmed. Detectives are said to be fully investigating the incident now.

Miami Police Commander Freddie Cruz described the surveillance camera footage shot on Friday night as “disturbing.” He also said that, according to witnesses, the woman cried out, “Call 911!” and “He’s going to kill me!”

The video depicts the unnamed woman walking past two men outside the La Ceiba Tire Shop, after which she goes inside the business. The footage then shows a man pulling the woman by force out of the shop and leading her into a white Nissan Altima. Once she’s inside, the vehicle quickly speeds away.

Upon releasing the video, Commander Cruz said, "We don't know the whereabouts of this young lady. We don't know if she's hurt. This is someone's daughter, this is someone's sister, someone's family member. We need to apprehend this individual. We need to bring this young lady back home to safety."

After a tense search, the Miami PD announced on Sunday night, “The abducted female has been located safely in good condition. Detectives are following up on the investigation.”

No further information has been released about the incident — yet.
