On November 13, 2009, Christina Whittaker, 21, vanishes without a trace. But her mother, Cindy, refuses to give up hope.

Inspired by Cindy, filmmaker Christina Fontana pledges to find out what happened to Christina Whittaker. But the deeper Fontana begins to dig, the more it's clear nothing is as it seems in Hannibal, Missouri.

Fontana gets closer to Cindy and tries to figure out what she might be hiding. Rumors circulate about Christina's whereabouts. And years after her daughter's disappearance, Cindy believes she's met someone who can prove that her daughter is alive.
