Vegetarian Diners Horrified After Finding Human Flesh In Their Food
Police in Bangkok are searching for a suspect who allegedly served his victim to diners at a vegetarian restaurant.
BANGKOK, THAILAND — Police in Thailand are on the hunt for a restaurant owner who is suspected of serving human flesh to his customers.
Diners at a vegetarian restaurant in Bangkok became concerned when they found chunks of what they believed to be meat in their noodles earlier this week.
At first, the customers complained about finding the suspicious items in their food.
But when local authorities came to investigate, they found that the source of what was determined to be flesh was far more gruesome.
In a twist reminiscent of a horrific Halloween prank, investigators discovered that the meat was not pork or beef – but human flesh.
An investigation of the premises then found a kitchen area where the walls and floor were spattered in blood and there were chunks of flesh on the ground.
They also found the decaying corpse of a 61-year-old man, who was later identified as Prasit Inpathom, in the restaurant’s septic tank.
Inpathom was reportedly a frequent customer of the restaurant. He was last seen having drinks at the restaurant on October 21 by his brother.
According to local media reports, Prasit was involved in a verbal altercation with the owner of the restaurant.
Preliminary investigations showed that he was hit in the head with a blunt object and had multiple knife wounds on his body.
Police are searching for the restaurant owner, who was not on the property when authorities arrived.
The investigation continues.
