LAS VEGAS, NV — In a new video shot at a Las Vegas restaurant, notorious convict and accused double-murderer O.J. Simpson appears to tells a fan, “Being a felon ain’t all bad!”

According to reports, 71-year-old disgraced NFL great Simpson is “living the high life” in Las Vegas, where admirers regularly cheer his presence and ask him to pose for selfies at bars, restaurants, and casinos.

In a short clip posted by TMZ, Simpson is seen clowning with a fan who refers to him as a “felon.” In response, Simpson smiles into the camera and says:

“Come on, Ricky, you know I don’t like that s—t, but being a felon ain’t all bad!”

Simpson was paroled from prison in November 2017 after serving nine years of a 33-year sentence for kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, assault, robbery, and using a deadly weapon.

The conviction was related to a 2008 incident in which Simpson attempted to take back personal items from a sports memorabilia dealer in a Vegas hotel room.

Prior to that, Simpson was famously found not guilty in the 1994 slaying of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. A subsequent civil suit did find Simpson guilty of wrongful death in those murders, and the court ordered him to pay $33.5 million in restitution to the victim’s families.

Shortly after getting out of jail last year, the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas reportedly removed O.J. from its facilities for being “drunk and disruptive.” Simpson disputes that claim and has since filed a $100 million lawsuit against the company.
